Eddie Jordan becomes the first Formula One team principal to visit the new Shanghai International Circuit this week (July 29th and 30th). Jordan was invited by the Shanghai Municipal Government, Shanghai International Circuit and the Chinese national television broadcaster CCTV to visit the track, which will host the inaugural Chinese round of the FIA Formula One World Championship in 2004. He will meet representatives from Shanghai International Circuit, and key government officials from Shanghai Sports Bureau and Shanghai Municipal Government during his visit, before returning to Europe for the German Grand Prix.
